J'ai reporté les corrections suggérées par jc1, le document est donc disponible pour une nouvelle relecture
pour validation. Comme je suis un peu moins fatigué que hier soir, je vais tenter d'y refaire une passe.

I apply the changes suggested by jc1, so the document is ready for a ne review before the complete validation.
Of course, the documents available on the FTP are up to date.

Bonjour,

En relisant j'ai trouvé ceci :

Les options additionelles Les options additionnelles

Par contre le français prend plus de place que l'anglais ( à 10% à 20%)
il va peut être falloir modifier la largeur des colonnes et l'espace entre celles-ci si l'on veut faire tenir le flyer sur 2 pages (et toucher au marges).

En tout cas ça semble bon pour la traduction. Daniel : The translation looks finished, we are discussing about the text size (3 pages) and I'll try to reduce it.

That's based on your first version and I have cut nothing, only the non translated paragraph and the other bugs are missing. It's not too difficult. And having 3 pages is a clear nono, believe me. Wink

BTW: Translating something from English to German you need approx. 15% more space, to French approx. 25% and the worst is Italian with 30%. Knowing that very well after 15 flyers we (the allBSD team) always have some space left in the English flyers.

I made several fixes and now we have a 2 pages document ready-to-print. You can download them from the regular place (ftp server).

Update 02:35:

I formatted the Ports flyer, please have a look at

You can see it's easily done with font height 9 instead of 8. You need to have all the flyers in the same layout. When we started to write those flyers three guys used different equipment (Pages on Mac, OO 1.1 FreeBSD and OO 2.00 on Windows) with different layouts, different fonts (Lucida Grande, Arial, Times Roman) and font heights (7, 8 and 9). The result was chaos after some months. Cry

BTW I will print 500 FreeSBIE, 300 Ports and 300 installation flyers.

Feb 2007 at 16:23 Bonjour, Après, une autre relecture, mais en plus gros, j'ai trouvé des petites choses. Cette fois j'ai fait les corrections dans le fichier odt et fait la transformation en pdf. Joint à ce message (seulement le pdf, odt trop lourd !)
