resolution non correct avec le pilote vesa (Read 3040 times)

resolution non correct avec le pilote vesa

Salut,
je viens d'updater xorg vers la 7.3
j'utilise le pilote vesa, j'ai un ati RX1950 et le pilote ati ne la prend pas en charge

avant l'update j'avais une resolution plus que correct
mais maintenant je me retrouve avec du 1400x1050 alors que mon ecran devrai fonctionner en 1680x1050
j'ai essaie en rajoutant les modelines mais rien y fait.

je voudrais savoir comment faire pour regler ce problem

de plus avant la maj j'avais un resolution superieur a 1680x1050
de l'ordre de 1900x...
est-ce mauvais pour l'ecran ?
est t'il possible que l'ecran ai la capaciter de fonction avec un resolution plus important que celle stipuler sur le carton.

Salut,
je rajoute mon xorg.0.log,
ca peut peut etre aider.

je poste en fichier join car le text doit depasser les 5500 caracteres

Le mode que tu demandes n'existe pas d'après le pilote VESA:

Essaie celui-ci: 1920x1440, ou encore d'autres si tu as un problème de mémoire dispo (il y a: 1856x1392 et 1600x1200, entre autres).

Ca risque pas de poser des problemes avec mon ecran ?

su le carton c'est 1680x1050 mais peut etre qu'il peut faire plus,
comment le savoir ?

En principe, pas: l'EDID rapporte ceci au pilote VESA durant l'initialisation:

Essaie par contre de virer ta modeline additionnelle, pour voir s'il pourrait pas en calculer une correcte et l'utiliser. Par contre, si l'écran donne cette résolution comme maximum (1680x1050), j'ai du mal à croire que tu pouvais avoir du 1900-et-qques x qqch. auparavant.

J'ai essaye en commantant la modeline mais ca change rien
